The majority of children in Haiti suffer from malnutrition because their diets are limited by poverty, lack of education, and social restrictions leading to overall poor health.

Animal source foods contain a high density of balanced, highly digestible proteins and essential micronutrients. These foods are an integral component of a nutritious diet.

By delivering goats to Haiti, we are able to:

    • Provide high quality nutrition in the form of Chili Kabrit, a goat-meat and vegetable-based meal, served to Haitian children through school-based lunch programs.
    • Create an economic driver to promote the establishment of sustainable agriculture in Haitian communities.
    • Improve the genetic background of Haitian goats and provide training in livestock management to support Haitian agriculture producers.
